I'm Judy Bartkowiak, author, coach and trainer; mum of four grown ups in their 20s and 30s. I've been working in the area of understanding children and teens all my working life, first as Kids Brands Europe, a qualitative market research agency working with toy and tv brands and then as NLP & EFT Kids, a kids coaching and training company.

I loved working with children and learnt very early on that the best way to find out what they were thinking was to NOT ask them!

I trained with Bill Schlackman in my first job in Qualitative Market Research. He was a very well regarded Behavioural Psychologist who had worked with Earnest Dichter in the US in the 60s. I learnt from Bill how to create activities using art and play, to engage with children in order to find out what the client wanted to understand about characters, plot-lines and the way they related to the brand.

I worked with LEGO, Baby Born, Barbie, Shaun the Sheep, Little Tikes, Tomy, Fisher Price, Disney and many many others as well …
