Art Therapy is a form of therapy that uses the creative process of art-making using a range of different media to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Art Therapy can be a useful tool in helping children with anxiety by providing them with a safe and supportive environment to express their emotions and develop coping skills.

Safe and supportive because they don’t risk getting something wrong, there are no right or wrong answers and the art is free-flowing, abstract and doesn’t have to look like something. It is what it is.

Here are some ways Art Therapy can help children with anxiety:
