Helping your child understand their angry feelings
Angry is a feeling. So when you ask your child “why” they felt angry, they will not only not know ‘why’ because this assumes in the question that you expect an answer that ‘makes sense’ to you but also because they will tell you they don’t know, they now feel even worse for disappointing you by not knowing.
