Children and teens often find it difficult to verbalise how they feel. Do you have a child or teen who is worrying about the new term but can't really explain 'why'. Instead use crystals to help them.

Ask them to choose a crystal that for them represents how they feel about the new term and ask "in what way" (avoiding the word 'why' which tends to suggest that there is a logical reason which there may not be).

Then ask them to choose another to represent how they'd like to feel about the new term - again same question "in what way does this crystal represent how you'd like to feel about the new term?"

Then ask them to place a crystal between those two, that would represent what they need to make that step towards feeling as they'd like to feel.

Again use the same 'clean language' question.

Then ask them if they'd like to hold that last crystal, the enabling crystal and imagine what that new term might be like with this crystal. Is there anything more they might need?
