Let me introduce you to my book.
I decided to update Positive Parenting with NLP (neuro linguistic programming) by adding in elements of EFT (emotional freedom technique) because I have found that combination of modalities, along with play and art therapy, to be invaluable in all my therapy work with children and teens. I know you will also find what I have to tell you useful as well.
As I’ve been updating I also thought about the title, Positive Parenting, and wanted to change that too because is there even a thing – negative parenting? Of course there isn’t! We all want to be positive and love and nurture our children and teens. Positive is about focusing on what works, what is going well, what behaviour we’d like to encourage and that is certainly a very NLP approach so I’ll be sharing some ideas here to help you do this.
