I think EFT tapping is a great tool for children to use if they fear failure.

I’m going to assume they are at home with you at the time you are aware that they are fearing failure, that’s certainly the ideal opportunity to introduce them to the technique rather than at school.

You notice they seem worried about something new they are about to do, or a test or exam, a new experience perhaps or a change they weren’t expecting. You might say,

“Shall we try a new way I know to help you with what you’re feeling?”

Step 1. Ask them to put their hands on their heart or to their chest, wherever they feel most comfortable, and close their eyes. A good way to start this process is to breathe in for four and out for four, three times, to really encourage the energy in the body to wake up and get ready to move!

Ask them to think about the thing they’re worried about and anticipate the worst that could happen. Yes we want to create a worst case scenario so we can tap and clear it away.
