As we head into exam season, I’d like to talk about emotional ups and downs, pressure and sleep.
You know how one day someone will say something to you and you’re not bothered by it? Then the next day someone will say the same thing but this time it really winds you up? The problem is not what was said or who said it but it’s all about YOU. How you choose to respond is the difference.
Let’s call the outside force or the event ‘pressure’. Most of the time we can cope with pressure and we just get on with things. In fact, a bit of pressure can be fun and exciting, and it can even bring out the best in us.
