As we pass the halfway mark with the current group training course, my thoughts are turning to the next one as inevitably I will need to publicise it so I hope you won’t mind if I mention it here first.

I am passionate about training parents and teachers to work with children, teens and indeed with mums and dads. It is demanding and very satisfying to be able to make a change in the lives of young people. You know the expression “you’re only as happy as your unhappiest child”? It is so true. I see it on the faces of the mums who call me, distressed that their child is struggling, unsure what to do or say and not knowing who to turn to. CAMHS is seriously oversubscribed and there is a confusing array of different types of therapy and counselling services on offer. Which will best suit their child?

The full range extends from the talking therapies (CBT and NLP as well as counselling and coaching) to the play and art therapies, energy healing and hypnotherapy.
